Fellas, As a nearly 2 decade resident of municipality of Palatka, Florida, and Putnam County, I greatly appreciated your enlightening me on the goings on that I missed out on — the great Goodwill grenade giveaway. I was somewhat surprised to find out that it had been handled by Palatka PD. Which is not to question their capabilities, but I rather expected that one would fall to the Putnam County sheriffs office. I believe (without much research) that Palatka and Putnam County has the only sheriff named “Gator” in the entirety of the of the United States. I also have a strong suspicion that your gator hunter story involves residents of Putnam County/Palatka area. Merry Christmas to you both!
